Help! My web site is down!

While Flawless Designs strives for 100% uptime for all clients that are hosted by us, it can never be guaranteed, and we can not control the uptime of those client's sites that are not hosted by us. However, we've found that many times it is an issue with the user's computer equipment or connection rather than with our servers and your web site when such a problem happens and that the lack of access is isolated to your location, so we ask you to take the following steps before getting too worried:

1. Reboot your Modem (Cable/DSL/etc), Router, and Computer - In that Order.
2. Once everything is back up fully, insure that all of the correct status indication lights are lit on your Modem and Router. If they are not, please proceed to Step 5.
3. Try to access your site and see if it works.
4. If it does, great, you're done, if not, try to access another high traffic site, such as http://slashdot.org and see if that works.
5. If you can not access any other external sites, the problem most likely lies with your ISP. There is nothing that we can do in this situation, so please contact them for further assistance.

If, however, you can access other sites on the Internet after performing those steps but not your site, please contact us immediately via telephone if your site is hosted with us or your current web host if your site is not so that the issue can be solved as quickly as possible.
